Project 3.0 rolls on with the renovation of the Roosevelt!
We picked up the temporary walls from a previous art show to frame up the bathrooms with. We have the dividing wall in between the male and female bathrooms framed up – so now everything is ready for plumbing; which we will knock out tomorrow. Thanks to Isaiah & Craig for helping out today.
We have one custom made concrete sink (6 feet) already cast. We have a diesel generator that we converted to run on used vegetable oil to power the Heavy Metal BBQ; we also have the used oil from 2 local busineses.
The plan here is to do whatever we need to have functioning bathrooms for the Heavy Metal BBQ on January 1st. During the month of January 09 we are planning to finish the bathrooms with custom cast concrete sinks, custom LED light display and of course permanent walls. A host of other bells & whistles are in store for that buildout.
We are aiming to demonstrate a slice of what the total buildout will look like by knocking out the bathrooms full tilt.
